From the original Motown sounds of the 1960’s to the Riot Girrl movement of the 1990’s, the female sexual energy, we-against- them passion, and the hard road to fame, have fueled some of Rock & Roll’s greatest and most energetic moments. It is in this spirit that the germ of the idea of “The Myths” and Girlfriend-ZY was formed. Currently being developed as an off-Broadway musical in New York City, a talented team of writers, musicians and singers have come together to create an album of rock and roll that stands on its own merit. |
